Under new management. Since opening only a week ago I am very impressed. A very family friendly environment with big plans to add onto the place for outside eating during summer months. The menu could use a few more options but I think that will come with time. The service was very polite and friendly. I would go back to this place without a second thought. There is room for improvement but with only opening a week ago I foresee a good place to come.
My wife ordered a burger she got chicken sandwich,I order a steak with sides and I only got the steak. Had to wait for a knife and my sides. Steak was cold and tasteless. The only thing that was any good was the waitress. She did do a good job waiting on us.
I'm currently walking across America and from Delaware to here this is my favorite hotel thus far, and I stayed at a suite in the Homewood Suites in Newark, DE. The room was small but very well kept. If you want a fancy place with bells and whistles then this isnt for you, but if you value human interaction more then I think you would love it. I felt like I was staying with friends and family. The food was wonderful and the building had a very rich history which I enjoyed learning about. I will definitely be back to visit Ruth and Murphy at the very least, how often can you say that about a hotel. 5/5
